If this site ever earns money from a link or an ad, it will be labelled here. Editorial decisions are never for sale.

Display advertising

The site may show advertising through Google AdSense or a similar network. Ads are labelled as advertising and are kept out of the main content column.

Advertisers do not see or approve editorial content, and no publisher can pay to have a game described more favourably.

Affiliate links

Some “where to buy” links may be affiliate links — for example the Amazon Associates programme. If you buy through one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Affiliate links never determine whether a game appears on a list, where it ranks, or what the description says.

Editorial independence

Lists are compiled from published rules and checked against Pagat, BoardGameGeek and publisher rulebooks. No publisher has paid for placement, and none has been offered the option.

How to spot a monetised link

Affiliate links appear only in clearly marked buying sections or with a note next to the link. Rules and reference links — Wikipedia, Pagat, BGG — are never monetised.
